In this course you'll be learning about the history behind various Christmas traditions, beginning with Germany, moving on to England, then America, and finally Japan. We'll look at the Christmas tree, ornaments, Santa Claus, and other traditions.

Following the historical background, we'll dive into the three areas: mercury glass garlands, bottle brush trees, and Putz houses.

For each collectible we'll take a look at the following:

• Their origins
• How to identify them
• How to clean and/or make repairs
• Reproductions
• How to date them
• How to photograph them
• Their values
